The Production BMW Cup (PBMWC)
has gone from strength to
strength since it’s inception.
Safe affordable racing has
always been the ethos behind the
series, something that has
attracted consistently large
grids from the opening round at
Lydden Hill in April 2004.
2008 is set to take this onto
the next level, offering drivers
an exciting new calendar as well
as better value for money.
In 2008 the PBMWC will be
supported by a new series, the
Toyo Tires
Racing Saloons (TTRS).
This will enable drivers to have
additional races in their own
class at similar good value.
To race with PBMWC there will be
no requirement to join any of
the National racing clubs. There
will be a membership fee, but we
will not be looking to profit
from our financial activities,
re-investing any surpluses for
the benefit of the drivers.
We will continue to retain the
services of a dedicated MSA
eligibility scrutineer and
driving standards will continue
to be rigorously enforced.
We race for fun and our
post-race paddock socials are an
important part of the racing
experience. The Production BMW
Cup is a friendly, family
orientated series run by and for
enthusiasts something that will
continue into 2008 and beyond. |
